The dining room is huge and the lounge has adequate comfortable seating. The family bathroom is better suited as an en-suite to one of the twin rooms which is how we used it but this left the children having to use the en-suites in their parents’ rooms. The addition of a downstairs cloakroom would have made things easier, as would some more attention to detailed maintenance – we noticed doors that would not shut properly and taps that were very stiff to turn on and off. Outside there was adequate off-street parking for 5 cars. We made use of the BBQ and the garden was a useful play area for the children but again would benefit from some improved maintenance. All in all a very enjoyable stay but with a little effort could have been made even better.
